Business/Commercial

When an individual, or a business, becomes involved in a dispute that is not quickly settled between the parties themselves, it often leads to the litigation process. This means that one party or the other files a lawsuit asking the court to settle the matter or enforce a right which that party believes has been violated. This process is known as civil litigation. There are about as many types of civil litigation, or lawsuits, as there are human transactions.

Ken Cohen has represented numerous clients over the years, both individuals and businesses, in civil litigation, including (by way of example):

  • Construction cases
  • Firearms litigation
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Trust litigation
  • Quiet title and boundary disputes
  • Fraudulent conveyances
  • Breach of contract
  • Breach of fiduciary duty
  • Personal injury
